Bloomingdale Day Care And Nursery 44 Google reviewsPosted on Ryan Watson Our two sons love attending Bloomingdale. The staff and management has always been very kind and communicative with us and most of all, they take great care of our two kids.. Our oldest loves Miss Donna and she has been instrumental in our son's social and educational development. Our youngest isn't talking yet but always has a smile on his face when we pick him up. I recommend Bloomingdale to anyone in the area. Great hours, friendly staff and clean facility.Posted on Alia Sahloul Blossoms 2 Wonderful timing for the families and children to vote during the election voting week! Yet Unsure if it’s acceptable to vote since my child comes only for summer camp and Ad Hoc days We love Ms Aya, Ms Donna, and Ms. DiannaPosted on Adam Alrefai Seeds all the way! Bloomingdale Daycare has friendliest and nicest teachers. Our son attended for a little over 3 years, we recommended it to 2 families—both are currently going there and extremely happy with their experience. I wish we were still living close by because it’s not easy to find childcare that truly cares for and loves your kids like they do. Vote goes to Bridget, nidya, and DonnahPosted on amr refaie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I vote for Sprouts 1! From the start, it’s been amazing to see our little girl grow and we feel like all the teachers have played a part in that—so choosing one was not easy lol We love hearing from family, friends , and random parents at the park about how knowledgeable and respectful my child is. Pros: The parent-teacher conference we had three weeks ago was super helpful, too. It gave us a chance to really understand her development charts and talk about her growth areas we have to focus on at home too. Cons: too many reminders on Procare, which can feel overwhelming at times. Pizza reminder, label reminders, fire drill reminder, no nuts reminder, and more But all in all the greatest shoutout goes to to miss. Samantha and miss. Marjori, miss Lisa, and miss conny You have created a wonderful environment for Sprouts THANK YOUPosted on Karolina Weber We have had a wonderful experience at BDC! My son started in September 2023 when we moved into town and leaves each afternoon with a smile on his face! He started in Seeds 2 and is now in the Sprouts 2 room! I would say Sprouts 2 is his favorite with all the songs, dances, new play ground time and his favorite teacher Ms. Diana!Posted on Netasha Teimouri JoJo has only been going to BDC for a couple of months now, but her her vocabulary has increased. Her ability for sentences has become so much better sometimes I think I’m talking to a teenager and not my little 2 1/2 year-old. She actually gets in the car and tells us that she played with her friends in the playground and she loves her friends and miss Karen, I love hearing about her day every single day I pick her up from BDCPosted on Vanessa Luaces I have been been with/have used BDC for nearly 6 years now as I’ve had both of my kids enrolled here. Ms. Karen and Ms. Diana have been consistent faces/presence at BDC. They had both of my children and they have been absolutely amazing with them. During the school year, my son wants to be up early to drop off his sister just to still be able to give Ms. Karen a morning hug. Every day, my daughter runs to Ms. Diana and Ms. Ketty with a huge smile. In the late afternoon/pick up, Ms. Colleen and Ms. Dawn have also been with BDC for some time and have had both my children. They are also fantastic. There were some changes in the administration in the recent years which caused some “growing pains” but the most recently administration additions, Ms. Roxie and Ms. Leila, have been great.

The Creative Curriculum is a research-based curriculum that helps young children to thrive in all areas of development.
The Creative Curriculum is a play-based learning curriculum that focuses on interest areas and fosters creativity in both children and teachers. Being creative means thinking of new ideas, obtaining information by asking questions, and learning through trial and error.
This curriculum doesn’t just help our students learn, it teaches them to become learners – all while having a lot of fun!
We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. The role of our program is to assist families in the care and education of each child. We believe in a strong parent/teacher partnership. Our team strives to facilitate activities that allow parents to be more involved with their child’s learning process and development.
One way we facilitate this connection with parents is by using an app called Pro Care to share daily activities, classroom updates, photos, and videos with parents while you they are working.
Parents and teachers have the ability to send messages throughout the day. In addition, we have telephones in every classroom for when Mom or Dad need to check in!
We would like the community to know that Bloomingdale Day Care fulfills their mission with passion, dedication, and commitment; creating innovative educational solutions to you and your family by:
Our Center: Our 5500+ square foot facility features seven individual classrooms to provide specialized care and learning for all ages of early childhood. We offer two safe and fenced-in playgrounds, as well as a 5000-square-foot play area/auditorium. In addition to allowing for active play on rainy days, our auditorium allows us to host many family events during the year such as graduation, dance recitals, holiday programs, art shows, and more!
Our Team: We have amazing teachers and staff that provide excellent care and learning opportunities for children. They offer nurturing and engaging experiences that help children to thrive and grow.
Our Curriculum: We leverage the Creative Curriculum to inspire children to be confident and creative critical thinkers. We offer rich, hands-on experiences to help them discover and explore their unique gifts and abilities to put them on the path to a successful future.
We understand that for many parents, choosing a quality daycare facility for their child can be a difficult (and at times very stressful) task to take on.
We want you to know that we are here to help! We encourage families to take their time and explore all options before deciding what will meet their needs best: “A Parent’s Guide to Choosing Quality Child Care” is a great resource to help families get started.
We are more than just a daycare. We are:
We strive to provide the best possible service not only to the children, but to their families as well. We understand that little ones do not come with manuals; sometimes having someone there whose opinion you trust can make all the difference!
It is my honor to take on the director role at Bloomingdale Day Care (BDC) as Miss June who has run BDC for nearly 40 years transitions into retirement. I must admit, in my years as a professional, I have not met a person more loving, kind-hearted, and dedicated as June for her community; she is truly one-of-a-kind and my inspiration for the school. Fortunately for all of us, June is not going anywhere any time soon. While she is stepping down as the owner/director she will still be involved in the administration of the daycare for as long as she is able and chooses to be. I would also like to take this opportunity to recognize Beth for her insight and guidance she has provided and will continue to provide to us; she is a true leader.
I married my high school sweetheart Vickie after dating her for 13 years. She is a brilliant woman and graduated from NYU Stern in 3.5 years with a near 4.0 GPA. Vickie has a successful career in finance working for the same company for the last 18 years. Most importantly, she is a loving mother, a caring wife, and fully supportive of this new endeavor of her husband. As for me, I earned my B.A. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Montclair State University. I’ve worked for two employers since graduation; my first 7 years as head of IT for a small company and the last 12 years as a technical application manager for a global financial software company. We have been married for over 10 years and are parents to four amazing children: Maya (9), Xander (6), Maxwell (4), and Micah (2).
I am sure you have all had similar experiences to ours when we first started looking for a place to care for our children. We toured many places and struck out with most of them because for one reason or another, we did not feel completely comfortable leaving our babies there. Over the years, we have moved from one daycare to another trying to find the right fit for our kids. One afternoon while walking my son Maxwell back from his school, it occurred to me that as a career I would love more than anything to be involved in a place that cares for and has a positive impact on young children and gives parents the same feeling of comfort and peace of mind that we sought for our children’s care. We have been searching for 3 years for the right opportunity and when I was introduced to June, we made an instant connection. Everything June had to say about the school’s culture and philosophy resonated with us. We cannot wait to become a part of your Bloomingdale Day Care community and bring happy smiles to the parents and children we care for.
We wish you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season and look forward to meeting you in the weeks to come.
