April was bursting with fun, laughter, creativity, and enough candy-filled eggs to keep the Easter Bunny employed year-round.
Here at Bloomingdale Daycare, our annual BDC Easter Egg Hunt was an egg-stra special success! The children had a blast searching high and low for eggs packed with fun toys, stickers, goodies, and surprises. There were smiles, excitement, and at least a few children who believed they could carry 27 eggs at once.

We were also proud to participate in the Walter T. Bergen Easter Egg Hunt with the Borough of Bloomingdale! BDC donated eggs with special raffle tickets hidden inside—and rumor has it there are still a few prize eggs waiting to be claimed! If you found one and haven’t reached out yet… don’t leave that egg hanging!
Our Spring Break Program at Martha B. Day School was another huge success, filled with dancing, games, crafts, playground fun, and enough energy to power the town for a week. We loved spending break with our Bloomingdale school district kiddos!
And in what may have been one of the comfiest days of the year, we celebrated Wear Your Pajamas to School Day on April 16th because learning is just better in pajamas! Cozy outfits, big smiles, and a slightly increased number of children asking if it was nap time all day long. Teachers may have enjoyed this one just as much… if not more.

April also brought one of our favorite events of the year—our Annual Art Show . Families got to admire the masterpieces created by our talented young artists. Glitter was used boldly, colors were chosen fearlessly, and fridge doors across town gained valuable new décor.
And of course, we wrapped up the month with Spring Picture Day. Smiles were polished, outfits were coordinated, and many adorable faces gave us their best “I’ll smile if I feel like it” look.
As always, thank you to our amazing BDC families for making each month so special. We’re hopping into May with full hearts, muddy shoes, and lots more fun ahead!
