March at BDC: Hats Off, Socks On, and Leprechauns on the Loose!
March came in like a lion… and left us with crazy hats, mismatched socks, and a few very suspicious leprechaun sightings
It was a busy (and very fun) month here at Bloomingdale Daycare, and we packed in plenty of learning, laughter, and just the right amount of silliness.
Read Across America Week = Storytime Magic
We kicked things off celebrating Read Across America Week, diving into some beloved Dr. Seuss classics. From rhymes to giggles, our classrooms were filled with imagination, storytelling, and lots of “one fish, two fish” energy
Spirit Week Shenanigans
To make things even more fun, we paired it with Spirit Week—and let’s just say… BDC families did not disappoint!
We saw:
Crazy Hat Day – the taller, the sillier, the better
Mismatched Sock Day – because matching is overrated
Wacky Wednesday – where everything felt just a little off (in the best way)
Red & Blue Day – Dr. Seuss would be proud
Pajama Day – the day we all secretly wished never ended
St. Patrick’s Day Mischief
Just when we thought things couldn’t get any sillier…
The leprechauns arrived.
We’re not saying they caused chaos… but we’re also not not saying that
From tiny tricks to classroom surprises, our students had a blast celebrating St. Patrick’s Day—and keeping a close eye out for any sneaky green visitors.
Hello Sunshine!
And just when we thought winter would never end…
we got outside!
We soaked up a few beautiful, warm days and took full advantage of fresh air, playground fun, and the long-awaited freedom from being cooped up inside. (Teachers and kids alike were equally excited
)
We’re so grateful for our amazing families who helped make the month extra special. Now we’re ready to hop into April… bugs, birds, flowers, and all
