February at Bloomingdale Day Care was cozy, sparkly, and powered almost entirely by tiny humans in fleece pajamas.
We kicked things off with Pajama Day — because nothing says “academic excellence” like unicorn slippers, superhero jammies, and at least one child who clearly dressed themselves (we support the confidence). The children were comfy. The teachers briefly considered canceling real clothes forever.

Our friends from Bloomingdale, Butler, Riverdale, Kinnelon, West Milford, Pompton Lakes, Haskell, and Wanaque all showed up ready to learn… and lounge. We were also thrilled to welcome Dr. Frank from Butler Smiles Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics — along with his very famous assistant, Dugan the stuffed dog (who, we can confirm, is extremely well-behaved and 100% cavity-free).
The children learned all about brushing, flossing, making tooth-friendly food choices, and why taking care of your teeth early is a VERY big deal. They asked excellent questions. They demonstrated dramatic brushing techniques. They proudly left with dental goodie bags and the confidence of tiny hygienists.

And of course, February wouldn’t be complete without our Valentine’s celebrations and annual Sweethearts Dance. There were twirls. There were bold dance moves. There were enthusiastic spins that defied physics. There was glitter. So much glitter. (We may still be finding it in March!

February reminded us that learning can be fun, friendship is worth celebrating, and a healthy smile looks good on everyone.
