Halloween at Bloomingdale Day Care was nothing short of spook-tacular! Our annual Trunk or Treat brought together families from Bloomingdale, Butler, Riverdale, Kinnelon, West Milford, Pompton Lakes, Haskell, and Wanaque for an evening full of candy, creativity, and community spirit.

This year we had 11 families decorate their cars — and for a few of them, it was their third year in a row! We couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication (and their incredible costume-to-car coordination). From monster-themed trunks to pumpkin-filled hatchbacks, every stop was a treat.

Our littlest ones rolled through the fun in style — the babies looked absolutely adorable in their strollers, wide-eyed at the lights and music. The older kids traded candy, and proudly showed off costumes that could rival a Hollywood set. We spotted Monsters Inc. duos with baby Mike and Sully, an Anna and Elsa pair straight out of Arendelle, and even a very enthusiastic Sven trotting nearby.

The children were treated to a Halloween magic show — and the magician didn’t disappoint! There were gasps, giggles, and a few “how did he do that?”.

A huge thank you to all our amazing families for helping make this such a memorable event. Your creativity, laughter, and community spirit are what make Bloomingdale Day Care such a special place to learn, grow, and celebrate together.

We’re already counting down the days until next year’s Trunk or Treat — though, let’s be honest, some of those costumes may deserve an encore much sooner!
