I’m so excited that our virtual preschool is taking shape and I’m happy to share what I have planned for week 1.  Please look over the attached document to see what learning your child will be doing next week!

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

Your child will need an adult around to help with some of the activities.  It is expected that you are available to help them out and to keep them on task.

Our lessons will be recorded if you are unable to attend or if your child is not able to focus for the entire lesson.  This is okay and expected – our little ones have very small attention spans.  If you need to go back and repeat a section at another time or date, you will have the ability to do so.

Please keep our Zoom login information private.

Each week new materials will be available for pickup or I can drop them off to you.  Please be patient with me – it takes a great deal of time to plan and prepare for these online lessons!

This is new to me and I will be learning as we go.  The first week especially is a “trial by fire” and I may need to make adjustments to week 2.

Thank you so much for supporting Bloomingdale Day Care during this difficult time.  The $300 tuition for this program is due by Wednesday.  You can either drop off a check or stop by for me to run your credit card (you won’t even have to come in the building!) .  I will also accept checks when I drop off materials this week (I don’t think I will have them ready for pickup by the end of the day as I had planned)

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!  The day care phone is now being re-routed to my personal cell phone, so you know how to reach me.
